Heres the Bannon–Epstein connection MAGA hoped you’d never see
The House Oversight document dump reveals Bannon acting less like a political strategist and more like Epstein’s personal fixer.
Let’s start with the obvious: when Congress releases 20,000 pages of Epstein estate documents, you brace for the usual rogue’s gallery of billionaires, politicians, and Enya-listening tech moguls. What you don’t expect — or maybe what at this point you absolutely should expect — is a full-blown comms-strategy bromance between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein.
But there it is, in the Oversight Committee’s latest release. The committee announced the haul on November 12, noting it contained extensive correspondence between Epstein and “business tycoons, entertainers, political figures, academics, and leaders of philanthropic foundation,” including “many scanned copies of phone messages.” And buried in that pile is a gem: Steve Bannon, in 2018, secretly playing crisis manager for a convicted child sex trafficker.
According to the documents, Bannon wasn’t just checking in on Epstein. He was actively shaping Epstein’s public-relations rescue mission as the disgraced financier scrambled to contain the public backlash over his past crimes.
